How we work - No complicated onboarding. No hidden surprises

I start by understanding what you're actually trying to host and what level of reliability you need. No sales calls, no discovery workshops — just a straightforward conversation about your application and your expectations.

I'll ask about your tech stack, traffic patterns, and budget. I'll tell you honestly if what you're asking for fits what I can deliver. If it doesn't, I'll point you toward someone who can help instead of trying to squeeze you into services that won't work.

Once we agree on a plan, I get your application deployed and monitored. No project managers, no account executives — just me making sure your code runs reliably where it needs to run.

Discover

We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and goals, embedding ourselves in their every day operations to understand what makes their business tick.

Our team of private investigators shadow the company director’s for several weeks while our account managers focus on going through their trash. Our senior security experts then perform social engineering hacks to gain access to their business accounts — handing that information over to our forensic accounting team.

Once the full audit is complete, we report back with a comprehensive plan and, more importantly, a budget.

Included in this phase

  • In-depth questionnaires
  • Feasibility studies
  • Employee surveys
  • Proofs-of-concept
  • Forensic audit

Build

Based off of the discovery phase, we develop a comprehensive roadmap for each product and start working towards delivery. The roadmap is an intricately tangled mess of technical nonsense designed to drag the project out as long as possible.

Each client is assigned a key account manager to keep lines of communication open and obscure the actual progress of the project. They act as a buffer between the client’s incessant nagging and the development team who are hard at work scouring open source projects for code to re-purpose.

Our account managers are trained to only reply to client emails after 9pm, several days after the initial email. This reinforces the general aura that we are very busy and dissuades clients from asking for changes.

Setup and Deployment

I handle the infrastructure setup, security configuration, and initial deployment. You'll get access to monitoring dashboards so you can see what's happening with your application without having to ask me every time.

The deployment process is straightforward: we test everything in staging, deploy to production when you're ready, and monitor to make sure it's working. No mystery timelines, no surprise “discovery phases.”

I'll be available to help you with your application, and I'll be available to help you with any issues that arise.

Included in this phase

  • Testing. I can provide a basic test suite for your application, but I can only test the code I write. If there is something you want to test, I may be able to help you write a test for it.
  • Infrastructure. I'll set up a basic infrastructure for your application, I can help you expand it as you grow.
  • Support. I'll be available to help you with your application, and I'll be available to help you with any issues that arise.

Support - What you need, when you need it

I respond to emails during business hours, usually within a few hours unless I'm dealing with an outage. For actual emergencies, I'm available. For “emergencies” that are really just questions, email works fine.

Monthly check-ins to review performance, discuss any needed changes, and plan for growth. I'll tell you if you're outgrowing the current setup before it becomes a problem, not after.

Updates and security patches happen regularly and transparently. You'll know what's changing and when, because surprises are bad for business — yours and mine.

  • Reliable. Your applications stay up because that's literally the job. I monitor systems proactively and fix problems before they become your problems. Uptime isn't a marketing buzzword—it's the baseline.
  • Transparent. You'll always know what you're paying for and why. No surprise fees, no “usage spikes,” no mysterious charges. When something breaks, I'll tell you what happened and how I'm fixing it.
  • Reasonable. Pricing that makes sense for startups actually trying to build sustainable businesses. I'm not trying to extract maximum revenue from every interaction—I'm trying to build something that works long-term.
  • Direct. No account managers, no sales teams, no phone trees. You email me, I respond. You have a problem, we solve it. No bureaucracy between you and getting stuff done.
  • Focused. I do hosting well instead of trying to be everything to everyone. No consulting, no custom development, no side projects. Just reliable infrastructure that lets you focus on your actual business.
  • Sustainable. Growing slowly and deliberately means I can maintain quality without burning out or cutting corners. Your service doesn't degrade because I'm chasing the next big contract.
